Saw Take That on the Channel V Video Scope (Retro music videos) programme this morning. Was pretty bummed they never played "Everything Changes".

Down with a cold so sleeping it off and not going to gym. Sigh! Been missing my Saturday work-outs so much now.

Watched a Shaw Brothers movie on NTV7 jus now. Not bad. It starred Ti Lung and had a cameo by Yuen Wah. Same old story - Ching Dynasty Emperor is a Han not a Manchurian and his brother is the leader of rebels, the Red Flower Society. Surprisingly, Ching rebels were the first triads (Chinese mafia).

Got 300 the graphic novel and Toots & the Maytals' Time Tough comp.

A bit too heavy on the boom-chicka-boom sound of early Sun recordings (even if most songs are from Columbia) and the sparseness of American Recordings Vol. 1. Pretty neat nevertheless. "Life" is the most diverse while "Murder" has the best lyrics.
